A great start of the new season

We had a wonderful family staying at Silver Spur Trails, which was the best start for the new season. The children enjoyed a real hands-on ranch experience with grooming, feeding and riding the horses. How satisfying to watch the children's faces and their smile when they're finally sit on the horse.

The perfect day

The blue sky and the sunshine today made it a perfect day to saddle up the horses and go for a ride. The snow is melting and the feel of spring is in the air. Soon we will be riding the mountains again. You haven't booked your vacation yeat?

Minki is our 13 year old spoiled and friendly ranch cat, Troopers best friend.The time when he used to kill squirrels and grouse are over and even a mouse can't excite him anymore. When he lost his buddy Nimo a year ago he was not doing too well, but now fully recovered. He most probably will be on you lap during your next stay at Silver Spur Trails.

Trooper the ranch dog

Trooper, our ranch dog is ready for the riding season. Each time we head down to the barn she hopes that it has started.  The sun is shining this morning, the air is crisp and the sky blue.
