The 1-day or half-day ranch adventure at Silver Spur Trails is a great mini getaway.
The 1-hour or 2-hour mountain trail ride will give you a
good taste of of the wilderness surrounding the ranch. The trail leads
through large, old growth forests and rugged terrain. Soon you will
trust your sure footed mountain horse and fully enjoy the adventure and
the nature surrounding you. Moose Mountain is the place to stop for a
while to take in the view and click some picture memories. There is a
good chance to see some wildlife on this ride.
Back at the ranch, there are some
other excitements waiting for you. Always wanted to know how to shoot
with a bow and arrow? Archery at the ranch is like going back in time.
After some hard practice, everyone will boost their archery skills.
Target shooting with an air rifle is also a good way to spend some time.
Enjoy a barbeque dinner on the camp fire, followed by Cowboy coffee and
marshmallows. Get your Cowboy spirit out and share some trail stories
while sitting around the camp fire.

Silver Spur Trails Wilderness Ranch is getting back to the origin of shooting. Kevin spent an afternoon with the Monashee Mountain Men in Salmon Arm on the weekend learning from the professionals and shooting his 50 cal. black powder gun. Black powder, smoke, just like in the Western movies.
